It has been 23 years, still nothing tops Halloween…
With the appearance on the HorrorFest charts of Halloween 2, it is also
the only series to have three movies in the top 30 aside from George Romero’s
Living Dead trilogy. Meanwhile, the Evil Dead trilogy has all dropped,
and Army of Darkness (Evil Dead 3) has fallen right off the charts. Note
to Ash fans: better get out and vote. Also noteworthy: creeping in at
number 30 is Poltergeist, which
is showing at Macabre
this year. We also received a vote for Yentl! (We were thinking of adding
a Best Monster category, in which case you could also vote for Barbara
there… - Ed.)
